Health Benefits of a Custom Sleeper Bus

Traveling can be uncomfortable. Moving from place to place and sleeping in a bumpy vehicle can cause a person to lose massive amounts of sleep. However, we don’t usually pay too much attention to lost sleep. We drink more coffee. We turn to other sources of caffeine to get us through the day.

Advantages of Custom Built Buses

Going on tour can be difficult. This is true for all industries — musicians, politicians, stage actors, and so on. Traveling from city to city each night can become a drain on your health, happiness, and relationships back home.

Leasing a Tour Bus in Nashville

You’re going on tour. Traveling from city to city is exciting. Each night is an opportunity to perform in front of a new crowd, learn about new locations, and see things you haven’t seen before. You’ve been working for years to reach this point and now that it’s here, you want to enjoy it.

Why Hemphill Brothers Can Get You The Custom Tour Bus of Your Dreams

You’re going to be spending a lot of time in your custom tour bus. Whether you’re a touring musician, speaker, actor, or anything else that can take you on the road professionally — a large section of your day will be spent on the bus. The shows are only a small portion of your day. So knowing this, you want to be sure you get exactly what you want on your tour bus.

How Buses Help the Environment

A high end tour bus can help your next trip in a variety of ways. It makes your trip more comfortable, it allows you to bring more people with you while condensing everything into one vehicle, and it gives you a chance to rest. These are all wonderful benefits that make employing a high end tour bus worthwhile for your own sake, but there are more wide-reaching benefits to the world around us as well.

The Future of Entertainer Coach Buses

The world of cross-country travel is constantly evolving. New technologies and new trends are making their way into the design and use of luxury tour buses. Transportation isn’t a static industry, and this is especially true in the world of entertainer coaches. Technology is constantly used to make the trips more exciting — use of new TVs, mechanical advancements, and plenty of other new tricks are helping our rides become even smoother.

Parnelli Awards – Hemphill Brothers Honored With Coach Company of the Year

Congratulations to everyone at Hemphill Brothers Coach Company on winning Coach Company of the Year at the Parnelli Awards.

The awards show was held in Anaheim, CA on January 17, 2020.  It is the premier awards show for the Live Event Industry.

Joey Hemphill (Hemphill Brothers Chairman and Treasurer) and Mark Larson (Hemphill Brothers Vice President) were at the event to accept the award on behalf of Hemphill Brothers Coach Company.

Hemphill Brothers Celebrates 40th Anniversary | driven to be best provider of luxury coaches & custom star busses

Hemphill Brothers Coach Company is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year.  Driven to be the best, Hemphill Brothers has been rolling strong since 1980 when the company was founded by brothers Trent and Joey Hemphill.  America’s leading provider of luxury coaches and award-winning transportation services for 40 years, Hemphill Brothers has grown to include a fleet of over a hundred coaches and a team of award-winning drivers and employees.   Hemphill Brothers has long been considered one of the best custom coach providers for musicians, entertainers, and politicians.  Delivering customized, luxury Prevost Coaches that are second to none, Hemphill Brothers takes great pride in striving to be the best.  Whether you are looking for a 12 bunk bus with WiFi and Satellite TV for a band, a customized wrapped coach for your company or roadshow, or a high-end star bus, Hemphill Brothers can deliver what you need and will consistently do its best to exceed your expectations.  Leashing a luxury coach or custom star bus is easy with Hemphill Brothers.

When Should You Get A Luxury Tour Bus?

Touring is just a part of life for entertainers. Traveling from one city to the next, sleeping with your head against the window, and visiting truck stops for food becomes normal. This can begin to wear some performers down over time. Living on the road isn’t always easy. There are so many everyday affordances you miss. Something as simple as laying in a bed can seem like a luxury.

What Makes A Quality Luxury Tour Bus?

A luxury tour bus can be expensive, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s high-quality. Is it tailored specifically to your taste? Is it constructed well? Are all of the fine details perfected? Finding a quality company is the best way to find a quality tour bus. Here are a few capabilities you should be looking for in a tour bus provider.

Customizing Celebrity Motor Coaches

Our buses are a home away from home for many of our clients. We want to take every consideration to ensure they are comfortable and happy while they spend time on our coaches. This can mean something different for each person. But we take the time and attention necessary to keep each of our clients satisfied. After all, when it comes to life on the road, you’re moving from one place in the country to another almost every day. The bus is where they spend the majority of their time. If this isn’t a pleasant aspect of their experience, it tarnishes the whole trip. We take this responsibility seriously. This is why our celebrity motor coaches have been used by as diverse a pool of clients as you could imagine.

Let’s look into what sets Hemphill apart from the competition and who utilizes our services.

Luxury Tour Bus: Your Home Away From Home

Being away from the comforts of home is the worst part of traveling. Your bed, your kitchen, your bathroom — all of it seems like such a luxury when you get home. These comforts relax us. However, this shock of familiarity doesn’t have to exist. What if there was a way to take the comforts of home on the road with you? Being out for an extended period of time doesn’t have to be exhausting. The amenities of a luxury tour bus can bring all of the comforts of home on the road with you. Here are a few ways a bus can make your trip much better.

LaBreeska Hemphill Passes Away At Age 75

LaBreeska Hemphill Passes Away At Age 75

LaBreeska Hemphill, beloved matriarch of the gospel singing family, The Hemphills, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015, in Nashville, TN at the age of 75.

Born in 1940 in Flat Creek, Alabama, a small coal-mining town, to Walter Erskine Rogers and Gussie Mae Goodman Rogers, LaBreeska made her entrance into a world of music singing with her family, the Happy Goodman Family, when at the age of 9, she appeared onstage at the Ryman Auditorium during the monthly “ all-night gospel sings.”

Due to her Christian upbringing and personal commitment, faith and values as well as the music of that faith, was a constant in LaBreeska’s life.

In 1957, LaBreeska married Joel Hemphill of West Monroe, LA and they became very active in the church Joel’s father pastored. Soon they began to travel and sing when Joel answered the call to ministry, evangelized briefly and settled down to pastor a church in the neighboring town of Bastrop, LA.

In 1966, Joel & LaBreeska signed their first recording contract as a duet with Canaan Records, a division of Word Records, the world’s largest music company at that time.

Mrs. Hemphill rose to prominence as a member of The Hemphills, ministering across the globe in concerts and revivals, and helped them achieve the status of a legendary Gospel group. A reviewer for the Washington Post attended one of their concerts in the 1970’s at Constitution Hall and wrote, “Mrs. Hemphill has a powerful and convincing voice and The Hemphills do not have one sit-still song in their repertoire.”

Garnering eight GMA Dove Awards, The Hemphills dominated the music charts in the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s – fueled by the emotive, strong vocals of LaBreeska Hemphill. For over 20 years, The Hemphills maintained an average number 8 song in Gospel music’s respected chart, earning 6 number one hits with the all-time greatest hit, “He’s Still Working On Me” which remained at No. 1 for eight consecutive months and was the song of the year for 1981.

LaBreeska was perhaps known most, musically, for the hits “I Claim The Blood,” “Grandma’s Rocking Chair,” and “Unfinished Task” – her soul-stirring voice touching the hearts of those listening.

In addition to her music, Mrs. Hemphill was an accomplished author of four published inspirational books, which were well received and life changing for many.

To know LaBreeska was to experience her bountiful expressions of love and happiness  – spreading the joy of Jesus to each person she met. Whether on stage, at church or in the grocery store, LaBreeska would  greet you with a smile and a kind, encouraging word.

“For over 50 years, my bride and companion, stood with me through ups and downs, joy and pain, tears and prayers, and I will miss her greatly,” said husband Joel Hemphill. “Although we have lost her earthly presence, I know I will see her again. I know where she’s headed, and that’s what counts! I love you, sweetheart, see you soon. You’ve finished well.”

The legacy of LaBreeska Hemphill will live on through her family – Joel Hemphill, Joel Hemphill Jr. (Joey) (Hemphill Brothers Coach Company), Trent Hemphill (Hemphill Brothers Coach Company) and Candy Hemphill Christmas (The Bridge Ministry / Resting Place Church).

In addition to her husband Joel, Mrs. Hemphill is survived by sister Jane Burks, brother Buddy Rogers, son Trent Hemphill and wife Bethni Hemphill, grandchildren William Hemphill, Madeleine Hemphill Shore and husband Caleb Shore; son Joel Hemphill Jr. (Joey) and wife Sue Ann Hemphill, grandchildren Taylor Hemphill Locke and husband Daniel Locke and Sarah Hemphill; daughter Candy Christmas and husband Kent Christmas, grandchildren Nicholas Christmas, Jasmine Christmas Brady and husband JonMichael Brady, and Joshua Christmas and wife Carrie Christmas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and a multitude of music fans and friends across the world.

Hemphill Brothers Coach Company Joins Forces With ShowHope To Create the Red Bus Project

Hemphill Brothers Coach Company was thrilled to join forces with ShowHope to make their dreams of a double decker bus thrift store become a reality. A bus was shipped from England in early 2012 and converted to a rolling store where college kids could donate clothing, shop and give donations for orphan care. The Red Bus Project is currently traveling to universities across the southeast this Spring with hopes of additional stops in the Fall.
